  1. ThePiratePeter says:

Wait, if the old house has been sold, where is Prof. Harmoney going to live?

    1. Yet_Pone_More_idiot says:

Downsizing to a mad bachelor’s pad, and using the leftover cash to help Grace and Mark set up their home on the farm?
Or moving with them to continue his mad science down on the farm as well? 🙂

  2. Frazikar says:

    BTW, whose driving??

    1. Amarouq says:

Self driving tractor. Remember, mad scientist for a father.

    2. ryttyr says:

I would have guessed the owner of the tractor, like Mark’s father or some other local farmer. But then it would be odd for him to stay after he dropped them off at their new house, or at least leave the tractor there. Hmm… Perhaps the tractor is a wedding gift from Mark’s father and that’s why he left it there? That’s a possibly I suppose, and a tractor with two people sitting in the back like that would not go very fast so the walk back wouldn’t take much longer than the drive there did.

  3. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

    Panels 2 and 5 = totes adorbs. <3
Also is it just me, or does Mark's dad look suspiciously similar to Prof Harmoney? Could Mark and Grace be cousins? xDD

    1. Volko says:

      Good I’m not crazy then.
      Cuz I see it too.

      1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

        Maybe we’re crazy together…? ;D

      2. ryttyr says:

        Me three!

  4. Sir2Reo says:

Is Celestia playing a game on a Nintendo Switch?

  5. Danyelle Doucet says:

How did Tia get her hooves on a Nintendo Switch? Surely this comic is set WAY before it came out….

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

The answer is “floating comic-book time”; in short, the comic is always set roughly relative to the present day. 🙂

      1. Danyelle Doucet says:

        I see…. That’s probably why…

        1. ryttyr says:

It’s actually set in the near future. Remember the ro-pets? Yeah, we don’t have that yet.

          1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Yeah, but what I meant is that whatever the current date, the comic will always be relative to that – in that it will always be “slightly in the future”. 🙂

            1. ryttyr says:

              Yep.

  6. LittleSlimy says:

The new house looks like the castle of the two sisters …

    1. Tatsurou says:

I imagine it’ll look a lot more like said castle once it starts getting filled with magic.

      1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

From the looks of the last panel here, it seems they’ve started filling it with “magic” already, if you catch my drift…. *raises eyebrows*

        1. Volko says:

*wink, wink*nudge.nudge* Say no more, say no more.

          1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

I do wonder if their acts of “magic” might cause the house to begin miraculously repairing itself though? xD

            1. ryttyr says:

That would be pretty nifty. We’ll probably either get that or a repairing the house montage complete with a spontaneous singing and dancing number that everyone mysteriously knows the lyrics and choreography for.

  7. Danyelle Doucet says:

I got a gut feeling that Grace’s child is likely Cadence’s ancestor!

  8. ryttyr says:

Are Gerald and Mark’s dad long lost brothers or something? They look so similar.

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

You’re not the only one wondering that… 😀

      1. ryttyr says:

Perhaps that’s just how Shieltar draws dads but I think they’re brothers.

  9. Dreamer says:

The house doesn’t have to look perfect to be functional! 🙂

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

The part on the left is missing its roof. How functional is that? xD

      1. Shieltar says:

don’t forget the large amount of foliage growing inside that section of the house…

        1. Dakkath says:

          It’s just an enclosed garden.

  10. miguel says:

hello how did you get people to draw and write so well

  11. Ryan says:

This page, much like this entire series, is all kinds of adorable. And yet the only thing I can focus on is how Celestia can use a Switch with just her hooves. Unless she’s actually using her magic and it just isn’t shown, I call shenanigans.

    1. MOW says:

The same way ponies of all races in the show can hold anything with their hooves: just another anaponysm.

  12. Arn says:

After they get the huge angle statues out of the old garden….they should be fine, fine…
    Don’t Blink!

  13. GitzharTentoxisTendriculs says:

And that’s how Cadance was born-

Waaaaaait a second. Professor Harmony looks just like Mark’s dad

  14. BenRG says:

That’s the Castle of the Two Royal Pony Sisters, isn’t it?

    1. ryttyr says:

I don’t get why everyone is saying this.
Aside from them both being a bit overgrown (with completely different kinds of flora at that) there is nothing in common between this house and the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters what so ever. Building materials, architectural style, shape, layout, surroundings, location, there’s nothing that matches with the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. Heck, in the flashback where we get to see how the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters looked originally before it became a ruin it wasn’t even overgrown so there is literally nothing similar about the two at all.

Now I’m not saying you all are wrong. I’m not. It could be that this house might become the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters in the future through magic. I’m just wondering why you all immediately thought about the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters when this house looks nothing like the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters.

      1. BenRG says:

Simple: It’s the place Celestia and Luna chose as their home. If it was their parents’ and grandparents’ home before them, that might, in narrative terms, explain why they chose a place that is otherwise in the middle of nowhere, even before the Everfree Forest grew around it.

  15. Borg says:

Okay, we’ve seen them in the same room together, but are we sure that Professor Harmoney and Mark’s dad are different people? The professor is a mad scientist after all; he could totally have some sort of clone who wears a different style of glasses and mustache.

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Very true! Or a time machine – nips back in time, relives the same events but this time wearing a moustache and different glasses! xD

  16. Justin Hunt says:

I love how everyone’s saying the fathers look the same, even though there are quite a few differences I can notice:
    the hhair colur is different,
    the eye colour,
    the clothes.
    the style of their hair
the style of the beards are different too.
so: prof harmony is not the same as marks dad. confirmed :3

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

I don’t think anybody’s saying they look the SAME, just suspiciously similar in their depictions. Y’know, like how brothers can look a lot like each other…? 🙂

  17. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

    Forgot to mention! xD

The banner hanging from the back of the tractor should say “Just MARRIED”, not “Just MARIED”. 🙂

    1. Shieltar says:

almost like they realised they were running out of room and started to cram it all in there.

      1. ryttyr says:

A tip for avoiding such problems is to write the words out somewhere first to see where the middle of the text will be and roughly how wide each word will be. Then when you know that you start to write the text out in a size and position that will place the centre of the text about where the centre of the sign is. This way you don’t end up with two words with different length having to have equal width because you put the space in the middle of the sign.

        1. Shieltar says:

I made this mistake deliberately, because it’s the kind of thing people do.

  18. Those fathers look so similar. I do think you could have tried a little harder with that.
