  1. PiMan says:

Going as a pony is probably easier because she’s x months into an 11 month pregnancy as a pony, but 9 month pregnancy as a human.

  2. Ryan says:

Is Grace’s mark missing, or is it just hidden by her wing? Either way, pony is stronk.

    1. Shieltar says:

oh flip me, I forgot she had her cutie mark.

  3. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

…Nice save there, Gracie! 😀 And you got to enjoy a picnic with your hubby first too, not bad!

  4. Nikary Flare says:

Yeah, if I had the option to turn four-legged for running, I’d do that too.

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Or she could even fly, wouldn’t that have been the most efficient/fastest way? xD

      1. AeroTendo says:

I imagine flying while heavily pregnant would not be as easy as simply walking in pony form. Maybe she didn’t want her hubby to see her in a hurry and flying would definitely be visible, either that or it simply didn’t occur to her (which I’m betting on is the most likely scenario, lol!)

        1. Snaproll says:

Maybe not her husband, but her father in law hasn’t been clued in yet for sure.

      2. It wouldn’t be. Because you need to travel a greater distance when you have to go up as well and also fight against gravity.

    2. Brownie Guy says:

Oh Sweet Celestia I wish I had had that option when I was in High School, see, I was in a program called the NJROTC and twice a year we had what was called our PRT (Physical Requirements Training) and I did fine in the push ups,sit ups, crunches, etc. but I always bombed on the running part. ALWAYS XD LOL.

First and last panels: Freaking Adorable AF

  6. BenRG says:

It’s so obvious that Grace and Mark are the ancestors of the Apple Family. I’m just wishing that this was canon and Applejack’s mind was blown one day when Celestia idly called her ‘cousin’.

    1. Brownie Guy says:

EEYUP, but if you’re interested I’m fairly certain that I’ve seen that idea played out in a couple of fan-comics and probably more than a few fan-fictions.

      1. Shieltar says:

Tia has given the apples a surprising amount of lea way and favouritism on the quiet… like giving them an entire towns worth of land for e.g.

        1. Ryan says:

Hence my intense love of well-done portrayals of Applejack’s noble roots. Especially if they also involve a decent portrayal of Blueblood.

  7. Charles Bowditch says:

She ought to be careful. All that frantic work could just trigger labor…

  8. deathsia150 says:

You may have answered this already but did you ever explain how Grace mastered how to change from Pony to Human and vise versa on a whim?

    1. Shieltar says:

You’ll find the answer disappointing… “it’s magic” and “practice”
My reasoning was, because I wanted her to be able too, and I thought it would be fun if she could.

      1. LunacyDreamer says:

Eh, fair enough. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be very elaborate. 😀

      2. I do think you should have had at least 1 page of her practicing that and have some funny mishaps.

  9. Borg says:

It just goes to show that you should always carry a picnic basket so you’ll have somewhere to put your clothes when you shapeshift.

    1. Rain-of-bow_dash says:

Wait a minute, wouldn’t that mean that she just stripped down naked and put them in the basket before she shifted to her pony form?

  10. Danyelle Doucet says:

I don’t think Tia and Lulu know about their future sibling yet…. And as for the unborn child, my guess would be that he or she is either earth pony or Pegasus….

  11. I’m surprised they can be left in the care of someone else for an extended period of time. I would think they would get up to all kinds of trouble with their magic.
