  2. Martin Visser says:

  3. Arn says:

So…Stuff didn’t go bankrupt after that awful icecream debacle and had enough money to have a corporate takeover of Grot?
Oh. Stuff bought out Sunshine Deserts and then they bought out Grot. Now I remember.
(Sigh) Such a far cry from Reginald Perrin’s original vision of selling useless product for everyone, novelty, Reginald Perrin would have embraced Gerald’s Alicons.

This comment has been Frankinstiened together using fictions, either let it wonder the countryside mindlessly till it finds Plutarch or Yong Werther or embrace it whole heatedly and teach it the power of friendship, don’t mind his eyes….

  4. Arn says:

    Oh!
The door frame is one of Reginald Perrin’s square hoops!

  5. Brownie Guy says:

    UH OH…covers eyes

  6. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

    Welp…this escalated quickly! xD

I suppose the Director would have to hire Stuf U Deliveries for private security, calling the police to try or army would either fail due to not being believed, or they’d capture the ponies for the crown, instead of for the Director’s company.

  7. Ezekyle says:

Director, director, buddy, pal… I realize you are new to mercenary work, but you aren’t new at business. You’re making a classic blunder. You shouldn’t have sent troops, you should have brought lawyers, then sued Gerarld and claimed he made Celestia on Company time, therefore she is a Stuf Inc product and had the courts bring her to you. Then send the troops after the scientist cuts and runs.

    1. ryttyr says:

I see you wields the power of logic and reasoning. Want to join our order?

    2. Shieltar says:

If it went to court. The question would be… just how much paperwork did the lab coat ninja’s take? So how much could the director actually prove.

      1. Arn says:

Ok. I forgot about the lab ninjas from MAD.
“MAD academy, we train our student well. School accredited by the Ninja way, our students are here to help.”
So the director enters and the team doesn’t, explaining the legal ramifications, the director retreats.
        Curse you overreaching legal system!

        1. Shieltar says:

Lab coat ninjas. the solution to so many problems.

          1. Arn says:

“Mad Academy accredited by the Ninja Way! Lab coat ninjas. the solution to so many problems.
Ninja Way with an accredited Library Science Degree!
Have a secret Library, one on the “Borderlands” perhaps hmm…Forgo the frequent expenses of Ghost buster’s real or original, need someone to comb the shadow to find that elusive copy of the Grimorum Or Necronomicom so you can close the rift with electricity, avoiding unnecessary Docror’s expense and exterminating lazer burns?
Our students our here to help! Staff your secret Library with Nijas today!
The also can staff boring old libraries.
            Stipulations apply.
Not for responsible for necessary military drills performed in Library to keep Ninjas at peek performance.”

          2. Alan says:

This is going to become one of those quotes that is used everywhere and looses it’s context, and then someone will look it up eventually and find out it came from a pony webcomic

            1. Arn says:

Lab ninjas are working on it!

Besides it a good book mark for remembering other things.

  8. ryttyr says:

I love the way you framed the director in that last pane with that awesome from-below angle and shading and stuf. Really cool

  9. Rain-of-bow dash says:

Ok, this would be illegal in SO many ways, (1. This is technically breaking and entering (2. I don’t know if this would count, and i don’t know if the UK has anything similar, but in the US, the 3rd amendment states that you and your property are protected from search and/or seizure without a warrant, and that a warrant will not be issued without due and propable cause, and (3. While TECHNICALLY you could argue that Celestia is company property, Luna is most certainly, absolutely, 100% not, as her creation had absolutely nothing to do with the company, thus, to seize her would illegal, and because she is fully sentient, it could technically be considered kidnapping
    TL;DR this is very illegal

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

A Brit here to answer your queries… 🙂
      1) This isn’t technically anything, it IS breaking and entering.
      2) Yes, we have a right to privacy and protection from search and seizure. The police are required to obtain a search warrant before they can enter a dwelling to search for anything, and could not obtain one without probable cause. Here, there is no probable cause… but that’s okay, because these aren’t the police anyway, they’re hired goons so they don’t care about such legalities. xD
      3) Celestia is company property actually – Prof Harmoney made her with company equipment, on company time, as part of a company project. That the company thought the project was useless and promptly sacked him matters not one whit, Celestia belongs to Stuf Inc.
      4) Following on from this…the equipment that the Professor built to make Tia, and the process by which he created her, were both developed on company time for the company. As such, they are the company’s intellectual property (not Professor’ Harmoney’s). Therefore, replicating all this at home to make Luna actually represents theft of company IP and they can claim ownership of Luna as well! xD (sorry!)

In short…the Director can legitimately argue that removing Tia AND Luna is not illegal as they are company property. The worst he’d actually get done for is breaking and entering, assuming nobody is harmed in the process.

YOMI – for when you overthink things at 11pm… xDDD

      1. ryttyr says:

But… what does the law say about reclaiming company property that is sentient? Is it still property reclaimation or is it kidnapping then?

        1. Rain-of-bow dash says:

Well I don’t think it would say anything about that, as it has never happened, also this man DOES have a technically legal plasma rifle, so either way, I don’t see this ending well

          1. ryttyr says:

I don’t think that technicality would carry far in the court though.

  10. WaveBlaster says:

I can see the future; They will screw this up.

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Can you see this Friday’s Euromillions numbers as well, please? xD

      1. Shieltar says:

The winning numbers are going to be
        1,2,3,-13 and π

        1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

And here I am with the numbers on my ticket being -1, sqrt (2), 5^(1/3), 7 of 9, and e; just my luck. xD

  11. Borg says:

    Spoilers: the screw it up.
