When asked about her friend big mark, Grace started talking about how he's big, and strong, and handsome, and big, and strong, lives on a farm, and handsome...
We thus suspect he is big, strong, handsome and lives on a farm.
Full name : Professor Gerald Harmoney
The maverick genius who brought the world magical talking pony's and got fired as a result. Even now his work controls his existence. Only now it's walking around on 4 legs and demanding cuddles.
Oh Professor Harmoney, do you have any idea what you’ve just done, besides chasing your daughter’s fiance and baby-daddy down the road with plasma rifle in a 40-watt range? xD
I just checked out of curiosity, and I see what Coma is referring to. I’m not sure if it’s an optical illusion or if something went wrong with shading (or something like that), but I definitely see two different eye colors in the 4th panel. I don’t know what to make of it at this point though.
I don’t understand why Prof is so fixed about marriage.
It’s not like don’t plan to have it with Grace, it’s more like now it’s a little… not good time for it?
And Prof is making thing worse. For no reason. Hm…
Well… this is not funny. Mainly because it is so common here where I live, and even taking it further. And it doesn’t end well in the end for that kind of “family”. So no. Not funny at all. :/
Alright, let me rephrase…it’s often used to try to invoke “rule of funny”.
However, whether it actually comes across as funny depends on how it’s presented in the work (a contemporary setting where the Prof suddenly whips out a Terminator-style plasma rifle is seeking Refuge in Audacity by going to absurd extremes) and how it fits with your own local/historical cultural values.
I was gonna suggest Mark turns into his pony form to be able to run away faster but then I remembered how unacustomed he still is with that form so that might not be a good idea.
Can you imagine just what her reaction would be if she looks out the window and sees her father chasing the father of the child in her belly? I predict anger, transformation and revealing herself to the Director… Dun Dun DUN!
Common, that they are forced into marriage or don’t and do it whenever and everywhere?
Traditionally, the marriage certificate in supposed to be used to get funds in order to protect the children.

The Director’s right eye changed color, is that on purpose?
I’m fairly sure his eyes are the same colour in every panel.
Me too.

Write it off as chaos magic? Changing someone’s eye color, just for a moment, is something that Discord-like energies need no justification for.
Alternately, perhaps his right eye dilated more than his left, in his surprise. Or it could just be a trick of the light.
I just checked the master file. It’s the hue shift simulating the affect of the setting sun casting a coloured light.
No on panel 4 his right eye is brown if you take a look nearer

It is called “overprotective dad” trope for a reason.

It’s kinda funny LoL but I don’t like the overprotective dad roll.

Also, it’s because Grace is the one that does that to him, he can’t control it.

Oh yesh. I forgot about that
Oh well there all dead

Forty watt/flashlight…thought so….
Well it would work as well as a club.
Unga! Smell boy take my daughter!

That’s clearly a weird science phenomenon, not a weird magic phenomenon. It’s totally unrelated.
