Waitaminute, that “FOR SALE” sign is lying toppled over on the wall right next to the front door they just smashed in…how the heck did not one single person see it there before? xDD

Director, mate… you should’a gone to SpecSavers! 😛

So have the Harmoneys sold up to move to the country? More space for growing ponies and a growing family to run and play? 🙂

    1. Arn says:

      Mommy magic…
Grace mom may still be looking after her daughter…

  2. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Also, just like to point out…in panel 4 “I will soon have the creature ITSELF in my hands”. 🙂

  3. VulpesRex says:

    1) They screwed up – those row houses all look the same, they got the wrong house (but the Harmoneymeter says they are close, very close…)

    2) …So the director removed his glasses in frame 5? Let’s hope he doesn’t set them down somewhere and forget them, I’m always doing that…(hint, hint)

  4. ryttyr says:

What? Well that’s a plot twist if I ever saw one.
So, in the time it took the Director to assemble his hit squad the Harmoney family put their house up for sale, got it sold, packed everything up and moved out of the house before the hit squad arrived? So this takes place like several months after the Director saw Gerald chase Mark with his technically-not-a-weapon plasma rifle?

  5. Nicholas says:

Oh thank god they weren’t there.

This comic lacks graphical continuity. What do I mean by this? For instance, compare the look of their[Harmoney’] house at this and previous page to following ones: BOE Book 3-14 here (http://boe.boequestria.co.uk/comic/book-3-14/) and BOE Book 3-14 here (http://boe.boequestria.co.uk/comic/book-4-14/). You will find out that: 1) left lower window looks different in BOE Book 3-14 and on those two last pages; 2) right lower window is present in BOE Book 4-14(possibly, hidden behind professor Harmoney in BOE Book 3-14) but not present on those two last pages; 3) roof(or its edge) looks different on all those pages.
Logically, this all should be corrected by the author, but I fear it will uncover a greater amount of graphical or continuity mistakes, correcting which will slow down the comic’ progress.

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

I see what you’re saying, but on the other hand…their physical reality is in a near-constant state of flux due to the magic emanating from the two ponies; and for instance while there were battlements on the Harmoney house in previous chapters, they are gone now because the Harmoneys have sold up and moved, taking their magic with them; the house could possibly be slowly reverting to its normal non-magical state.

If one takes this line of reasoning, then it holds that changes in this world are not yet permanent as there is still an insufficient level of magic to hold them in place. Eventually though, one could suppose that the magic level reaches critical and causes the changes to become fixed, no doubt shortly before the Great Ponification Event takes place.

      [/Overthinking Things] 😀

      1. sailtor says:

Actually, professor Harmoney’ house turned into a castle(and therefore would it never change back) after one certain event(BOE Book 3-4 – BOE Book 3-10) , so, even though there is a half-constant state due to big amount of magic around, that shoud not be enough to change architercture or landscape(at least yet), like said battlements, but it is enough to change alive creatures.

        1. Arn says:

          Schrodinger’s Castle?

          1. sailtor says:

In other words, there is already enough magic to change alive creatures, but not architecture.

  7. Arn says:

Now you have to deal with the parent company…their long legal arm…Ninja Reality.

  8. Arn says:

The lab coated ninjas are going to be very happy when they find you have the chosen one imprisoned, Director.
After all, all of the multiverse is Shao Kahn’s laboratory!
    Mortal Kombat!!!

  9. Danyelle Doucet says:

I guess the Director didn’t check for that sign!

    1. Dreamer says:

Even the most carefully laid plans never survive contact with the enemy.

Now, whether the reasons for failure are stupid not… That’s a different story entirely. 😛

  10. Kitten says:

MORE I NEED MORE OF THESE NOOO CLIFFHANGER

  11. Borg says:

Also, might I recommend not hanging around in this alarmingly high level of ambient magic?

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Or maybe the Director would precisely love to hang around and soak up all that delicious ambient magic in the vicinity… xDDD

  12. Blake Black says:

*The following scene has been rating HTH for Hope this Happens.*
Merc: Sir, another thing, we have reports of the smell of rocket fuel, one of the clocks is running backwards, and the telly is stopped during the Return of the Jedi.
Director: Really? Who packs up and moves in the middle of a movie? *Starts the movie back up.*
    Admiral Ackbar: It’s a trap!
*The house starts to shake and rise as the rocket engines lift it into space.*
Ninja: And that is why you don’t **** with MAD SCIENTIST NINJA!

    1. Shieltar says:

HA HA HA! Oh, I’d love to put that in the comic. But I can’t because reasons.

      1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

You could always create it as a bonus “what if?” page between chapters, just for the lolz. 😛
