  1. Hobbes T car says:

It might not be efficient, but i’d still drive around in it.

    1. Arn says:

      American cars.
Overly large, gas guzzlers, impossible to drive…

      1. LunacyDreamer says:

Yeah… I’m fine with my Prius… I’m made fun of and called “gay” by my friends, but I keep driving and give them the bird when they run out of gas. 😛

        1. Arn says:

          I like vehicles that work!
If a got a flying car, I would use it like a drone to do heavy lifting!

          Oh…
The quote is from Rescue Rangers.
Dale makes the Ranges investigate missing toy cars in cereal.

  2. Alan says:

Just wait until he invents a flux capacitor!

  3. wait, is ti a f*** flying car?!

  4. ryttyr says:

Wow. Gerald is such a… I don’t even know? Buying a house for his newly wed daughter and tell her it’s for her and her husband and then invite yourself to live there permanently?

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

He’s only staying as a temporary guest – which is fair considering he paid for their house with the sale of his own one – until he’s able to create a house of his own using MAGIC! 😀

      1. Angel says:

How much you wanna bet he ends up making the castle of the twin sister out their?

  5. ryttyr says:

Also, I love that his hovercar is just a Ford pickup that he put hover thrusters on.

    1. Arn says:

      FORD!
      QUALITY IS JOB ONE!
      ….
      HAHAHAHA.

      Ooo!
Maybe its a flying FORD Explorer Sports Track!
I used to love those….especially the flying ones..and the Bugs….
      ….Flying VW Bugs!

  6. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Haha, so Gerald has a Ford pickup with hover thrusters, and is going to try to build himself a new house with magic? He is so awesomely nerdy! 😀
I’m a little surprised by Tia’s confusion, that Mark’s parents would ask them to go plug in – surely by now they’d long be used to people mistakenly thinking they’re Ro-Pets?
And also – Tia has Philomena, surely it’s not common for a Ro-Pet to have a Ro-Pet of its own? Wouldn’t that make at least some people think twice?

    1. Shieltar says:

parents buy newborn babies shoes, despite the fact they won’t be able to walk before they grow out of them. They buy infants designer clothes, despite the fact the baby doesn’t understand the idea of clothes yet, and people buy there pets other pets so they will have companions. Therefore the idea of people buying there ropet a companion ropet seems like it would not be unusual.

In fact, if the marketing department has anything to say on the matter, there’s probably an entire product line dedicated to it.

      1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

        Fair enough, I guess. 🙂
…did you change the font on this page? It looks nice. 🙂

  7. Arn says:

    So….
    The discovery of magic….
Leads to cars with rubber tires…
    Ok…

  8. Arn says:

    1. Rebecca Rhine says:

Ford trucks are built tough, have great transmissions & suspension. Not to mention a great engine’s. Plus they are great for working on farms or ranches.
They only have one downside, they’re fuel guzzlers. All in all they’re workhorses known to be built for safety & durability. My close friend walked away from a crash in one that would’ve killed her if it happened in anything but a Ford.

      1. MOW says:

        Anything? Try a Volvo.

  9. Ryan says:

Sooooo… Gerald has a flying car. I’m not sure why I’m surprised.
I see Tia’s almost adult size now. And she is rocking that fancy new collar. How come Luna doesn’t have one yet?

  10. Astromormy says:

    FORD

    Fix
    Or
    Repair
    Daily

10 dollars says that thing breaks down every other week.

    1. Rebecca Rhine says:

      I beg to differ.

Plus a ford van took a head on collision on a rainy day and came out if it with only a dent while the brand new Cadillac El Dorado involved was totaled.

So unless Dr Harmony doesn’t maintain it. His Ford could last forever.

      1. LunacyDreamer says:

Heh, I had an Ford Aerostar for my first car. That thing hit a full grown moose pretty damn hard and it survived. A bit of body repairs and it ran like the day I got it (the usual whining engine).

So, all in all, not bad!

  11. JasonAW3 says:

    And your point is..?

  12. I_Am_Number_Six says:

I’m concerned about that “time to recharge” comment. In the time they were separated, could Celestia and Luna have been replaced with ro-pets?

    Bah! Just my paranoia talking…

    1. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

No, Tia said that Mark’s parents kept telling them to plug in and recharge because they (Mark’s parents) were mistaking Tia and Woona for Ro-Pets. 🙂
Although it seems Tia completely didn’t understand that this is what they thought, despite her having being mistaken for a Ro-Pet IN GRACE’S CLASS way back in Book 2, and Grace having to assure her that although other people thought that it was not the case…

      1. I thought they were talking about the Switch. It does have a very low battery life for a handheld.

  13. Borg says:

I guess that implies hover technology handles off-road conditions well; if it had no redeeming qualities other than being cool then that car would be made by some automotive startup without the sense to stay out of uneconomical technologies.

  14. Yet_Pone_More_Idiot says:

Second panel = completely precious! <3

  15. I think getting them a Switch is not a good idea. The Switch is really delicate.

  16. That Switch console is incorrect. The left joycon has stick at the top and the right one in the middle. Not the other way around.

  17. What games is Celestia playing?
